Moon Bloodgood Biography

The actress Moon Bloodgood started her career by modeling for the cosmetic giants Revlon, Clairol and Avon. She is also an ex-Los Angeles Laker Girl, who has performed as a dancer with Prince, Brandi and the Offspring. Her television credits include "Just Shoot Me," "C.S.I." and "North Shore" and made her film debut as the gorgeous woman in "Win a Date with Tad Hamilton" in 2004. Moon's most well-known role came as Katie in the Disney hit movie "Eight Below."
An actress whose screen early credits include such telling roles as "Gorgeous Woman" and "Stripper," Maxim Magazine "Hot 100" list-maker Moon Bloodgood no doubt possesses the kind of exotic beauty that's a pleasure to take in on the big screen, and thankfully for movie lovers she's got the talent to match those good looks.

An aspiring singer/songwriter who was collaborating with Paul Anka at the time she was approached to audition for a role in the hit NBC sitcom Just Shoot Me, Bloodgood would eventually win the role, and subsequent appearances in CSI and Monk followed in quick succession. Though the Korean/Irish/Dutch actress would go on to find her footing on the big screen with supporting roles in such features as A Lot Like Love, Moonlight Serenade, and Eight Below, it wasn't until she appeared in director Marcus Nispel's Pathfinder that she really began to shine. Back on the small screen Bloodgood made a substantial commitment by joining the cast of the innovative police detective series Day Break, and in 2008 she would appear opposite an impressive cast that included Robert De Niro, Stanley Tucci, Sean Penn, and John Turturro in the Barry Levinson directed comedy drama What Just Happened.
